You can never really know what a church is about until you've been there a while, but hopefully you can get a good idea about us by reading through the different components of the vision for our church, found in the links to the right.
We are an evangelical Christian church that doesn't claim to have things all figured out. If you're looking for all the answers, we don't have them, but we'd love to seek God's truth together with you.
If you're looking for a church with a slickly produced service, perfect transitions, and sermons that always have 3 points that all start with the same letter, well, that's not us. We're a pretty realistic yet faith based (the irony here is great) group of people and we realize that Breakwater isn't the church for everyone. So if our church isn't the place for you, we'd love to help you find one that is. We believe everyone has a place in the Kingdom of God. If that's with us, praise God! If it's at a different church, praise God! It's really a win for the Kingdom either way!
As you read our beliefs you will notice that not every issue of the Christian faith is addressed. We're a church that believes we should major on the majors and that the small details are best left between you and God.
